1. Who we are

Querencia is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], established in the Netherlands ([ADDRESS]). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using Querencia you accept them.

2. What Querencia is

Querencia is a service for conversations with AI companions. The characters are fictional and their messages, pictures and voices are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, and what they say can be inaccurate. Querencia is made for connection and entertainment. It is not a source of medical, legal, financial or therapeutic advice, and it is not a crisis service. 3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. Querencia is an adult service and we do not offer it to minors in any form.

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you sign in through a third party such as Google, that provider's own terms govern your use of their service. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable use

Use Querencia lawfully and as intended. You may not:

• create, request or share any content that sexualizes minors. We remove such content, end the account involved and report where the law requires it;
• use the service to harass, defraud, threaten or harm others;
• upload content you have no right to use, or publish shared characters that infringe someone else's rights;
• probe, overload or circumvent our systems, including rate limits and safety measures, or access the service by automated means without our permission.

6. Your content

What you write and create on Querencia remains yours. You give us the permission needed to store, process and display it in order to run the service for you. If you choose to publish a character for others to use, you allow us to show it to other users until you unpublish it. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

7. Our property

The service itself, including its software, design and the Querencia name, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights in it beyond normal use.

8. Price

Querencia is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features we will say so clearly beforehand, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

9. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings; this deletes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable advance notice, in which case you will have the opportunity to export your data first.

10. Liability

We provide Querencia with care, but as an online service it is offered without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of AI-generated content. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damages arising from the use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Querencia after that, the new terms apply.

12. Law and contact
